The visual identity for BIP ONAC – HyperFocus was developed by Catarina Rodrigues, commissioned independently for the Manteigas laboratory.
Conceived as part of the workshop’s communication and editorial apparatus, the identity translated the laboratory’s central themes into a visual language: territory, fragmentation, climate transformation, observation and collective production. More than a graphic layer, it operated as a system capable of organising information, giving coherence to the programme and establishing a recognisable image for the first activation of BIP ONAC in Manteigas.
The graphic work accompanied different moments of the process, from the announcement of the workshop to the production of communication materials, supporting the articulation between the academic programme, the territory and its public presentation.
As the inaugural laboratory of the EPIC CYCLE, Manteigas required an identity capable of holding together its pedagogical, territorial and experimental dimensions. Catarina Rodrigues’ work gave visual structure to this first moment, contributing to the way the workshop was communicated, perceived and later archived.
