The exhibition in Manteigas was conceived as a moment of return to the opus.
After the workshop, the first results and the development of the selected proposals were prepared to be shared again with the territory that had made them possible. The exhibition aimed to bring the work back to Manteigas, opening it to the local community, institutional partners and wider public.
Rather than presenting the projects as closed answers, the exhibition was designed as a public device for discussion. Boards, posters, drawings, models, manifestos and installation materials gathered the different layers of the process: territorial readings, conceptual positions, strategic hypotheses and spatial proposals developed from direct engagement with the village and the Serra da Estrela landscape.
This moment extended the pedagogical process beyond the time of the workshop. It allowed the proposals to leave the academic environment and enter a public field of interpretation, where architectural thinking could be confronted with local knowledge, collective memory and the concrete conditions of the territory.
In this sense, the exhibition operated as a continuation of BIP ONAC 01 in Manteigas: a space for sharing, questioning and testing how the work produced during the workshop could participate in the ongoing construction of ONAC as a distributed observatory for climate change.
